Covered Destination : Cochin – Periyar
- Cochin
Periyar tiger Reserve is one of the largest wild life sanctuaries
in India. Its rich bio diversity and scenic splendour give
enough scope for an adventurous holiday. Covering an area
of 777 Sq .km, this reserve is well-guarded and preserved.
Wild life enthusiasts will cherish this holiday, as they get
to see a wide variety of flaura and fauna, some of them in
the verge of extinction.
We have luxury packages cut out for those seeking a lavish
holiday. We can put you through the best hotels or resorts
available in Thekkady and give you city like comforts even
in the midst of a dense forest.
Day 01: Kochi / Periyar
You will be picked up from the Cochin airport and driven to
the Periyar Tiger Reserve which is 4.5 hours drive away by
road. You can check into the hotel / resort and spend
the day indoors catching up on sleep.
Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 02: Wild life trekking, boating, tribal villages.
On your second day at the Periyar Tiger Reserve, you can club
a host of interesting activities such as wild life trekking,
boating trips or visit to tribal villages. Adventure lovers
will enjoy the trekking expeditions that take you through
natural habitats. You will be assisted by a tour guide who
will lead you and fill you in with a lot of interesting trivia.
You can spend the afternoon at the tribal heritage museum
and get an insight into the tribal culture. In the evening,
you can go for a pleasurable boat ride on the lake.
Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 03: Bamboo Rafting
Bamboo rafting is a fascinating activity to explore the forest
tracts of the reserve. This eco-friendly programme takes up
the whole day and offers you a wonderful opportunity to discover
the exhaustive flaura and fauna. You will be accompanied by
tourist guide and armed guard while you take up this fun filled
adventure activity. The rafting starts at 08 am and
concludes at 5pm.
Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04: Periyar / Kochi
As per your flight timings, leave resort to Cochin airport
for onwards journey.
Overnight stay on House Boat.
Inclusions
- 03 Nights accommodation on twin sharing basis.
- Daily breakfast in the hotel.
- Transport services by an exclusive Car.
- Inside Park, Jeep will be provided.
- Activities in the park like Day Trekking, Bamboo Rafting,
Boating,
