Kerala Echo Tour
Destination: Cochin- Periyar- Munnar- Guruvayoor- Wayanad
Duration: 07 nights & 08 days
Day-01: Cochin
On arrival at the Cochin Airport or Railway station, meet
our representative board the cab and transfer to the Hotel
later in the afternoon proceed for a half day city tour
of cochin. Cochin the "queen of Arabian sea" is the capital
of Ernakulam. The scenic location of Cochin has a natural
harbor with lagoons, canals & fishing hamlets surrounded
by palm groves, green fields, inland lakes, & backwaters
etc. Visit some of the sight seeing places like Fort Kochi,
Kerala History Museum, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue,
Bolghatty Palace, St Francis Church, Willington Island,
Chottanikara Temple, Koder House, Hill Palace Museum,
Parishanth Taamburan Museum, Santa Cruz Cathedral, Chinese
Fishing Nets etc, later in the evening proceed for a Kath
kali show, a classical dance of kerala. Have a delicious
dinner. Overnight relax at the hotel & get ready to move
your next wonderful destination Periyar, early next morning.
Day-02: Periyar
On the 2nd day of your Best Echo Tour, after breakfast
checkout from the hotel, you will be driven towards Periyar.
Periyar is an area which introduces the spirit & beauty
of nature. The area is also popularly called as Thekkady,
which is settled in the high ranges of Western Ghats in
kerala. periyar is itself enchanting as the road passes
through tranquil countryside with rich plantation & thick
jungles.This beautiful place is clothed by dense forests,
evergreen surroundings. Periyar wildlife sanctuary is
one of the most fascinating wildlife sanctuaries in the
world, famous for its wildlife & scenic beauty. It is
natural habitat of elephant, bison, spotted dear, sambar,
bear & variety of bird etc. It was declared a tiger reserve
in 1978, the sanctuary is a rare example of human interference
having enhanced rather than damaged ecosystem. This beautiful
wildlife sanctuary attracts many visitors all over the
world. On arrival periyar our representative will assist
you for checking into the hotel and later in the afternoon
proceed for boating in Periyar Lake and wildlife sanctuary
visit and return back to the hotel. Have a tasteful dinner
& over night relax at the hotel get ready to move your
next beautiful destination - Munnar, early next morning.
Day-03: Munnar
On the 3rd day of your Best Echo Tour, after breakfast
checkout from the hotel, today you will be moving towards
Munnar. Munnar, the nature paradise lies in between nature
green & kannan devan hills. Munnar is a pleasant & a breathtaking
hill station of South India. It is also a centre of kerala
premier tea growing. It offers a stunning view of verdant
surroundings, forested hills flying clouds, mist filled
valleys etc. The word munnar (which means three river)
is derived from its location at the confluence of three
mountain streams namely kundala, mudrapuzha & nalla thanni.
Munnar remains a popular destination through out the country
because of its natural scenic beauty & green environment.
On arrival munnar we will assist you for checking in to
the hotel, rest of the day enjoy with the comforts of
the resort facilities and treat you're evening along with
an authentic Indian Dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel
and get ready to explore this amazing destination, early
next morning.
Day-04: Munnar
On the 4th day of your Best Echo tour, after breakfast
proceed for the sightseeing tour of munnar visit Anaimudi,
Christ church, Mattupetty lake, Fort munnar, Rajmalai(a
beautiful hill station), Devikulam, Marayoor, Kundalay
Dam, Attukad water falls, Blossom park, Photo point, Echo
point, Shooting point, Elephant arrival spot, Pothamedu
view point etc. Have a delicious dinner, over night relax
at the hotel and get ready to proceed your next stunning
destination - Wayanad, early next morning.
Day-05: Journey to Wayanad
On the 5th day of your Best Echo tour, after breakfast
check out from the hotel & proceed towards Wayanad. On
the way visit Sri Guruvayoor temple (The temple dedicated
to lord Krishna). On arrival Wayanad we will assist you
for transferring into the hotel. This day is leisure for
relaxation or shopping activities. Enjoy the evening in
the comforts & magnificent facilities of the hotel. Have
a tasteful dinner. Over night relax at the hotel & get
ready to explore this tremendous destination, early next
morning.
Day-06: Wayanad
On the 6th day of your Best Echo tour, after breakfast
you will be taken for the sight seeing tour of wayanad.
Visit Lakkidi, the gateway to Wayanad, Pazhassiraja Museum
and Art Gallery, Pookkot Lake & kuruvadeep where one would
come across a variety of vegetation, some rare orchids
and wild flowers. These are also haven for migratory birds.
The avian life here includes hornbills, parrots and a
host of butterfly species. Later in the evening return
back to the hotel, enjoy a tasteful dinner. Over night
relax at the hotel.
Day-07: Wayanad
On the 7th day of your Best Echo Tour, after breakfast,
spend the whole day in the natural beauty of wayanad.
The name "Wayanad" is derived from "Vayal nadu" Which
means the city of paddy fields. It is one of the beautiful
hill stations of kerala. Wayanad is noted for its pleasant
hill station, high mountains, grounding spice plantations,
wonderful rainforests and vast cultural traditions. It
provides the ideal climatic conditions for kerala's extensive
plantations. it is also a favoured habitat of animals
such as the nilgiri langur, wild elephants, & the giant
malabar squirrel etc. Wayanad has a gorgeous scenic beauty,
green surroundings, thick forests & unlimited natural
resources. On arrival wayanad check in the hotel. This
day is leisure for relaxation or shopping activities.
Enjoy a delicious dinner & over night relax at the hotel
& get yourself ready to move towards your next origin,
Calicut, early next morning.
Day-08: Calicut
On the 8th and last day of your Best Echo tour, after
capturing such tremendous & memorable beauties of Nature,
you will be moved to reach your origin destination, Calicut.
On arrival Calicut drop at Airport /Railway station to
board your onwards destination Flight or TrainWith happy
