Covered Destination : Cochin - Alleppey - Cochin
This short backwaters tour in Kerala takes you to the enchanting backwaters that have myriad panoramas including lush green paddy fields, thatched houses and dotted palm trees alongside the water stretch. This trip gives you an opportunity to savor the tranquil environment and stay in the unusual lodgings, the houseboats that sail through the scenic landscape of this place.
Day 01: Cochin
You arrive at the airport, where you will meet our representative. Transfer to the hotel.
Rest of the day is at leisure, when you can enjoy the wonderful environment of this city and relax in the luxurious lodgings.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Cochin
In the morning after breakfast, leave for city sightseeing tour. Here, we visit the Dutch palace, the Jewish synagogue, St, Francis church and Chinese fishing nets.
In the evening, you can enjoy a wonderful show of Kathakali, a dance form that has been practiced in Kerala for ages. These shows are held in the cultural hall in Cochin.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Cochin – Alleppey
In the morning after breakfast, we drive to Alleppey, a land with beautiful backwaters and landscapes. Upon arrival, we embark on a backwater journey on a houseboat. Here you can just relax and laze watching at the wonderful sceneries of merger of the emerald water with the azure sky in the distant horizon.
All the meals and overnight stay on-board.
Day 04: Houseboat
In the morning, have breakfast with water rippling beside your houseboat, and then for rest of the day you can savor the peace around and enjoy the wonderful backwaters and its surroundings. This peaceful and enchanting journey brings your mind to a tranquil state. You can watch the bewitching sunset, while sipping a cup of coffee. Life just slows down on a day like this when you can feel every moment gliding with poise and peace through the beautiful environment of the place.
Overnight stay on-board.
Day 05: Cochin
In the morning after breakfast, this delightful backwater journey ends and you disembark from the boat at Cochin. Transfer to the airport, from where you can continue with your onward journey.
End of the services with best wishes and happy memories.
